A Note From The Author

.

Thank you so much for being here!

I wanted to add a quick note for those of you that plan

on reading my book.

I cannot stress enough that this book is not a text book. It cannot take

the place of medical advice given to your by your doctor or therapist.

In this book, I discuss some extremely sensitive subjects.

I would never want my book to trigger anyone, so if you are

sensitive about discussions on self-harm, suicide, or death

please do not read this book.

If you are a parent, please make sure your child is old enough to

process this information.

This is my story and only mine. I would never suggest that anyone

follow my path. I consider this book a cautionary tale. I

made a lot of incorrect and unhealthy decisions thinking that

they were best for me at the time.

I wish I had a book like this when I was younger.

This is my journey, not yours. We may cross the same path from

time to time, but ultimately everyone processes mental illness

differently.

Your experiences with mental illness may be entirely different

from mine. All I'm asking is that you please be respectful. I'm

a human being with flaws just like anyone else. Mine are just

not usually visible to the naked eye.

Thank you.
